About Side Bar San Diego

In 2008 Side Bar was purchased by David Laurent, San Diego Business man, founder of NightlifeSD and LovinLife Productions. David Laurent partnered with veteran entertainment entrepreneurs Mike Georgopoulous, Rodrigo Iglesias and Dave Renzella, founders of the RMD Group, and together they collaborated on the extensive multi-million dollar expansion and edgy renovation.

Side Bar now abides as both an ultra lounge and nightclub, providing a dynamic aesthetic with classic sex appeal. A mismatched array of velvet burgundy couches is set beneath black sheathed crystal chandeliers. A cluster of thirty maroon birdcages dangles from the lofted ceiling above the front lounge. The focal point is the extreme birdcage in the back club that houses DJs and transforms into a stage for go-go girls to climb and tease the high-energy dancing crowd that gathers below.

A custom designed ambient lighting package provides just the right mood on any given event and the unique collection of erotic paintings and decor provide subtle distractions.
