Friday, July 25 – DJ Dynamiq (pending Comic-Con buyout)
DJ Dynamiq is slated to take over Friday night – assuming the club isn’t scooped up by a private Comic-Con event. A San Diego native and internationally acclaimed open-format DJ, Dynamiq is widely known as the “Open Format Assassin” for his explosive versatility. For over a decade he’s been seamlessly fusing hip-hop, Latin, EDM, and Top 40 into high-energy sets that captivate crowds in clubs, stadiums, and festivals worldwide. He’s rocked iconic venues like E11EVEN Miami, TAO Chicago, and Zouk Las Vegas and even pumps up NFL and MLS stadium crowds as the 7-season in-game DJ for the San Francisco 49ers. Dynamiq’s reputation as a go-to party rocker is well earned – he’s shared stages with superstar artists and entertained top celebrities at high-profile events. (Fun fact: he’s a member of the elite Heavy Hitters DJ crew and was voted 2024 West Coast DJ of the Year!)

Saturday of Comic-Con weekend is currently TBA, as SideBar may transform into a private playground for VIPs and industry insiders. If a Comic-Con buyout claims the night, don’t fret – it just means an exclusive event is taking over. But if the night opens to the public, brace yourself for a surprise headliner that will cap off the weekend with a bang. SideBar is known for pulling out all the stops, especially when the city is buzzing with superheroes, celebs, and cosplayers galore. A Comic-Con Saturday at SideBar would feature an all-out dance floor eruption in true SideBar style – think booming beats, costumed revelers dancing under neon lights, and an atmosphere charged with comic-inspired fun.
