SideBar’s first full week of November gives San Diego nightlife four distinct moods without losing momentum. Wednesday starts local and flexible, Thursday gets fast and remix-heavy, Friday brings in a West Coast radio and club veteran, and Saturday doubles up with a Bay Area-to-San Diego pairing.
It all lands inside SideBar’s intimate Gaslamp Quarter setup, where a polished lounge meets a high-energy club side. SideBar describes itself as a boutique nightclub and lounge built around live DJs, curated cocktails, immersive lighting, luxury VIP service, and an atmosphere that balances upscale details with a more provocative edge.
For November 4 through November 7, that setting gets a soundtrack to match: Mixtape Massey, Shadowman, E-Rock, and a Saturday pairing of Shaffy and DJ Kaos.
Wednesday, November 4 — Mixtape Massey
Mixtape Massey fits Wednesday because his open-format approach leaves plenty of room to move. He is known around San Diego for mixing hip-hop, R&B, house, Latin, funk, soul, pop, 2000s favorites, and throwbacks rather than locking himself into a single sound. SideBar has highlighted that range, describing sets that shift between nostalgic favorites and newer club records without losing flow.
His local calendar backs up that hometown reputation. On October 9, 2026, Massey joined DJ Cutz 1 at U31 in North Park, keeping him active in San Diego nightlife just weeks before this SideBar date. His Instagram presence also stays close to the city’s event scene, with posts around local performances and music-driven community events.
Expect a Wednesday built around recognizable hooks, clean transitions, sharper club edits, and quick pivots between eras. Massey’s strength is that the set can change with the room instead of feeling pre-programmed. For a midweek crowd arriving at different energy levels, that flexibility keeps the night moving.
Thursday, November 5 — Shadowman
Shadowman brings a different kind of control to Thursday. The Los Angeles-to-San Diego DJ is an original member of The Roster and has built his name through open-format club sets, radio work, and years in San Diego nightlife. His official Roster bio lists appearances at Oxford Social Club, Parq, El Chingon, and Hard Rock Hotel’s Sunburn Pool, giving him experience across everything from late-night clubs to daytime parties.
His radio résumé adds another layer. Shadowman has been associated with The Flip on Pitbull’s Globalization channel on SiriusXM, a show that helped spotlight remixes, edits, and emerging producers. That remix-first instinct makes sense for SideBar, where familiar music tends to hit harder when it arrives in a version the room was not expecting.
He has stayed visible in the Gaslamp in 2026 as well. Shadowman appeared with Craig Smoove at El Chingon on September 12, then joined the venue’s football soundtrack with NVious the following day.
At SideBar, expect quick blends across hip-hop, Latin, EDM, throwbacks, and club edits. Thursday should feel fast, current, and just unpredictable enough to keep everyone watching the booth.
Friday, November 6 — E-Rock
Friday raises the profile with DJ E-Rock, a Bay Area original whose career moves comfortably between radio, pro sports, and major nightlife markets.
Eric “E-Rock” Nagrampa began working in Bay Area radio as a teenager and made a high-profile return to Wild 94.9 in January 2025 with Radio Bassment Top 40 | Club Edition. The show focused on chart records, exclusive remixes, and club music, while the broader Radio Bassment brand had already reached markets including Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
His résumé reaches well beyond radio. E-Rock spent five years as an in-stadium DJ for the San Francisco Giants and has worked with the San Francisco 49ers DJ program. That sports-meets-nightlife crossover remains active in 2026: his current Instagram profile highlights involvement with the 49ers Amp Squad and work as an official DJ for the Athletics. His social audience also tops 40,000 followers, giving him a sizable platform outside the booth.
For SideBar, that experience points toward a Friday with big hooks, hip-hop, Top 40, throwbacks, and club-ready remixes. E-Rock knows how to create immediate reactions without making every transition obvious—a natural fit for a room where the night can quickly shift from cocktails to a packed club floor.
Saturday, November 7 — Shaffy & DJ Kaos
Saturday closes with two DJs bringing different West Coast perspectives into the same night.
DJ Shaffy, also known as Danny Shafazand, has been part of the Bay Area club world since 2008. SideBar has previously described his sound as a high-energy mix of house, EDM, hip-hop, Top 40, Latin, and big-room records, giving him the flexibility to play a Saturday crowd that doesn’t want one genre all night.
There is also a hospitality side to Shaffy’s profile. His current Instagram identifies him as an entrepreneur with ownership ties to Northern California concepts including NOVA Nightclub, Wild Rose Eatery & Bar, Flora Santana Row, and Second Story Cocktail Lounge. In other words, he understands nightlife from both sides of the booth—the music and the room around it.
Then there is DJ Kaos, bringing the hometown connection. His official biography says the San Diego native has more than 15 years of professional DJ experience, with performances spanning SideBar, Las Vegas nightlife, and venues around the country. Kaos also hosted Pitbull’s Globalization channel on SiriusXM and joined Pitbull’s I Feel Good U.S. Tour in 2021.
His ties to the local scene are hardly historical. Kaos’s current social bio still connects him directly with SideBar, The Roster, Pitbull’s Globalization, and El Chingon. His mixes have long pulled from hip-hop, EDM, Latin, Top 40, trap, R&B, and throwbacks, which gives Saturday plenty of room to change shape as the night builds.
Paired with Shaffy, that makes for the week’s most wide-open soundtrack: Bay Area polish meeting San Diego familiarity, with enough range between them to turn on a dime when the crowd calls for something different.
Make SideBar Your November Move
This lineup works because of the contrast. Mixtape Massey brings local personality and an anything-fits-if-it-works approach. Shadowman adds remix instincts and veteran San Diego club experience. E-Rock arrives with the polish of radio, professional sports, and major-market nightlife. Then Shaffy and DJ Kaos close Saturday with two complementary West Coast styles.
SideBar’s boutique scale is what pulls everything together. The venue intentionally combines lounge space, a club side, live DJs, cocktails, VIP service, lighting, and an intimate atmosphere rather than spreading the experience across a massive room.
From Wednesday, November 4 through Saturday, November 7, pick the night that fits your mood—or make it a week. Bring your people, step into the Gaslamp, and let this lineup set the pace.
