SideBar October DJ Lineup: ALX CRTZ, Kaos, Kevin Kon & Crooked

Enjoy premier talent and VIP bottle service at San Diego’s hottest nightclub! The guest list is free before 10 PM, so secure your spot now and prepare for a memorable night!

Halloween week at SideBar is built for people who want their Gaslamp night polished, close-up, and loud. The boutique nightclub and lounge at 536 Market Street pairs cocktails and VIP bottle service with an intimate room, immersive lighting, and DJ-focused programming. SideBar’s own experience pages emphasize a mix of lounge atmosphere, live DJs, elevated décor and premium table service rather than an oversized club setup.

For Halloween 2026, SideBar is leaning into BITTEN, an after-dark concept with vampire-inspired décor, specialty drinks and dark-glam styling. The official Halloween program starts with the Industry Halloween Party and a $5,000 group costume contest on Wednesday, October 28, then moves into BITTEN events with Kevin Kon on Friday and Crooked on Halloween night. This week’s confirmed DJ schedule adds a strong musical thread from Wednesday through a special Sunday Morning Party.

Wednesday, October 28 — ALX CRTZ

dj ALX CRTZ at sidebar night club san diego

ALX CRTZ opens the run with a set that should feel especially at home in San Diego. Chicago-rooted and now San Diego-based, he works in open format, with Latin rhythm playing a major role in his sound. His published mixes move through reggaeton, hip-hop, house, funk carioca, and baile funk, while his local ¡Pon Más Reggaeton! series connects him directly to San Diego’s perreo scene.

SideBar has kept ALX CRTZ close to its 2026 calendar, including a Road to Baja Beach Fest stop during the summer. His online presence stays music-first too, with social posts and mixes centered on DJ sets, events, and new combinations of sounds rather than celebrity-style content.

That range makes him a smart fit for Wednesday. He can move from perreo into rap, house and familiar hooks without the set feeling scattered, giving the first night of the Halloween stretch its own identity instead of treating Wednesday like a warm-up.

Thursday, October 29 — Kaos

dj kaos at sidebar night club san diego

Thursday goes to Kaos, a name with deep San Diego nightlife ties and a much wider résumé. SideBar’s recent artist coverage credits him with more than 15 years of professional DJ experience, bookings from Chicago and Las Vegas to Miami, New York, and international markets, plus an on-air connection to Pitbull’s Globalization channel on SiriusXM. He was also selected as a DJ for Pitbull’s 2021 I Feel Good U.S. tour.

Musically, Kaos is designed for a mixed room. Hip-hop, dance, Latin, pop, and EDM can all enter the set, with custom edits and quick transitions giving recognizable songs a nightlife edge. His 2026 local activity has kept him visible around SideBar, Park & Rec, Snapdragon Stadium, and Quartyard, making this less of a visiting headliner booking and more of a hometown favorite coming back to a room he knows well.

That combination is exactly what Thursday needs: touring experience, local instincts and enough genre flexibility to follow wherever the SideBar crowd wants to go.

Friday, October 30 — Kevin Kon

Kevin Kon performing live at SideBar San Diego

Friday brings Kevin Kon into SideBar’s BITTEN weekend, and his range goes far beyond a basic open-format label. Kon is currently an afternoon host on Orlando’s MIX 105.1, giving him a daily connection to radio pacing, personality, and audience instincts in addition to his club work.

Look through his current mix catalog and the picture gets even wider. His releases and playlists move between hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Jersey club, amapiano, UK garage, reggaeton, house and drum and bass. His LEFT ON READ edit series includes reworks and blends built around artists such as Miguel and Bryson Tiller, while his current hub also features A MIX OF WHATEVER 2, which pulls hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Jersey club and amapiano into the same orbit.

Kon has stayed active outside radio in 2026, including recurring Thursday nights at The Patio in Orlando alongside Alex Chang. At SideBar, that background should translate into recognizable records, less-obvious turns and enough range to keep Friday moving while BITTEN’s immersive Halloween production fills the room. SideBar officially bills Kon for its Friday, October 30 Halloween event.

Saturday, October 31 — Crooked

DJ Crooked at sidebar night club san diego

Halloween night gets the most seasoned club specialist on the lineup. Crooked is a Honolulu-born, New York-raised open-format DJ whose résumé includes major nightlife venues such as XS, Encore Beach Club, LIV Miami, Marquee New York, Tao, Lavo, Wet Republic, Hakkasan and OMNIA. Outside the booth, he co-created the R.O.A.D. Podcast, expanding his place in DJ culture beyond individual club bookings.

His recent calendar shows he is still very much in that world. Crooked returned to SideBar over July 4 weekend, and in September he appeared on the Everyday People Las Vegas lineup at AREA15 with DJ mOma and Nitrane, with Dreamville and the R.O.A.D. Podcast among the event’s hosts.

Crooked’s advantage is range with control. Hip-hop, house and throwbacks can all share space without the set losing its shape, an approach that makes sense in SideBar’s intimate room. Add the club’s Halloween-night BITTEN production, vampire-inspired styling and luxury bottle-service setup, and Saturday has a darker, sharper edge than the average costume party. SideBar officially has Crooked on the bill for October 31.

Sunday, November 1 — Kaos, ALX CRTZ & Alex Chang

DJ Alex Chang at SideBar San Diego

Sunday’s Morning Party keeps the week going with Kaos and ALX CRTZ returning alongside Alex Chang. Chang brings another open-format perspective backed by radio and club experience. His official bio lists appearances on Power 95.3 in Orlando, Hot 101.5 in Tampa Bay, 102.3 The Beat in Austin, and Pitbull’s Globalization on SiriusXM. His booking history stretches through San Diego, Miami, and Fort Worth, and he has opened for Juicy J.

His sound is just as flexible. Chang’s mixes and résumé span house, EDM, Latin, reggaeton and hip-hop, while his current Orlando schedule pairs him with Kevin Kon at The Patio every Thursday for an all-genre party. His own venue list already includes SideBar and El Chingon in San Diego, so this Sunday is a return to familiar territory rather than his first pass through the city.

With Kaos and ALX CRTZ back in the mix, the Morning Party feels like a proper final chapter to Halloween week. Three DJs who are comfortable moving across genres can keep the mood loose without flattening everything into the same sound.

SideBar’s intimate scale helps make the full lineup work. The venue centers live DJ programming, signature lighting, and VIP service, keeping the booth, tables, and crowd inside the same atmosphere. From ALX CRTZ’s Latin-driven flexibility and Kaos’s San Diego pedigree to Kevin Kon’s radio instincts, Crooked’s club history and Alex Chang’s all-genre approach, every night brings a different personality. Dress for the room, bring the right group, and pick your night — or make the whole Halloween stretch a SideBar week.
