SideBar October DJ Lineup: Mixtape Massey, Priince Harry & More

Enjoy premier talent and VIP bottle service at San Diego’s hottest nightclub! The guest list is free before 10 PM, so secure your spot now and prepare for a memorable night!

October starts with four straight nights of serious range at SideBar. From Wednesday, October 7, through Saturday, October 10, the Gaslamp Quarter nightclub moves from homegrown San Diego flavor to Sacramento energy, Los Angeles hip-hop pedigree, and a hometown Saturday-night closer. The lineup: Mixtape Massey on Wednesday, Priince Harry on Thursday, SourMilk on Friday, and Shadowman on Saturday.

This lineup makes sense for SideBar. The intimate boutique nightclub and lounge at 536 Market Street mixes seasonal cocktails, signature lighting, upscale VIP service, and a club side centered on high-energy DJs. Rather than feeling like an oversized venue, SideBar keeps the night close to the booth, the bar, and the people you came out with—the kind of setting where an open-format DJ can shift the room’s direction in a few tracks.

Wednesday, October 7 — Mixtape Massey

San Diego knows Mixtape Massey, and that local familiarity is exactly what makes him a strong way to open the week. Christian Massey is a U.S. Navy veteran and full-time San Diego DJ whose sets pull from funk, soul, house, reggaeton, R&B, pop, alternative, and plenty of 2000s hip-hop. His approach is less about staying in one genre and more about connecting songs people already relate to with whatever feels current in the room.

He has been especially active around San Diego in 2026. SideBar featured him on September 9 after recent dates at Waterbar in Pacific Beach on August 21 and Park & Rec on August 22, and the club also had him in its late-July rotation. That schedule puts Massey in front of very different San Diego crowds, which is valuable for an open-format DJ who relies on timing and quick pivots.

Wednesday should carry that same flexibility: nostalgic R&B can lead into a current hip-hop record, reggaeton can push the tempo forward, and house can reset the mood without making the set feel disconnected. Massey brings a distinctly local start to the week with enough musical range to make an ordinary Wednesday feel anything but routine.

Thursday, October 8 — Priince Harry

Thursday belongs to Priince Harry—with two i’s—a DJ whose online mixes make it clear he is comfortable jumping across scenes rather than choosing one lane.

His SoundCloud catalog moves through hip-hop, Jersey club, Latin, house, alternative R&B, Atlanta rap, reggaeton, and hyphy. Even the concepts behind his mixes show how wide the taste runs: Harry’s HOUSE heads into house territory, How I Met Your Mother leans toward nu-R&B and alternative R&B, while other sets focus on Atlanta rap, Latin music, or high-impact party records. His profile also directs listeners to @PriinceHarry across Instagram and X, extending that personality beyond the booth.

A strong Sacramento thread runs through his résumé. Local radio previously highlighted Priince Harry as a major presence in Sacramento’s college-party scene, and his 2026 bookings have kept him visible there. He appeared at the H.E.R.E. x Esther’s Park Day Party in May, and Archive Sacramento promoted him alongside DJ Oasis for its anniversary celebration in late September—just days before this SideBar week.

At SideBar, that broad palette should fit Thursday perfectly: stylish enough for the lounge, unpredictable enough for a club crowd that does not want the same sound all night.

Friday, October 9 — SourMilk

Friday turns up the résumé with SourMilk, an L.A.-based DJ, producer, music collector, Power 106 personality, and one half of the L.A. Leakers. His management bio describes a style built around precise mixing across hip-hop, pop, soul, and other genres, backed by performances in more than 30 countries. His past touring and performance credits include Nipsey Hussle, Dom Kennedy, and Tyga, as well as appearances connected with artists ranging from Jay-Z and Kanye West to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

His L.A. Leakers work adds another layer. Alongside Justin Credible, SourMilk has been part of the Leakers’ freestyle platform, which has featured names including J. Cole, Big Sean, DaBaby, Jack Harlow, G-Eazy, and Machine Gun Kelly. That combination of radio experience, artist access, production knowledge, and club instincts gives his sets a hip-hop foundation without making them one-dimensional.

He also arrives with an active club schedule and a sizable online audience: his Instagram profile currently shows more than 53,000 followers, while SKAM’s current itinerary places SideBar inside a run that also includes Palm Tree Beach Club, Marquee Dayclub, and Hakkasan dates in Las Vegas. Most importantly for this lineup, SKAM specifically lists SideBar in San Diego on Friday, October 9.

For a Friday at SideBar, SourMilk brings exactly the right contrast: polished, established, connected to L.A. hip-hop culture, but versatile enough to keep the night moving well beyond one genre.

Saturday, October 10 — Shadowman

Then comes Shadowman, a fitting Saturday closer and one of the names most closely tied to San Diego’s open-format scene. The Roster, the local DJ collective he represents, lists him as an open-format artist, while SideBar describes him as an original member of the collective who can move among hip-hop, house, Latin music, classics, and current records.

His San Diego résumé includes Oxford Social Club, Parq, Hard Rock Hotel events, and repeated SideBar appearances. He was back at SideBar as recently as August 8, and on September 12 he joined Craig Smoove at El Chingon for another Gaslamp booking. His reach extends beyond the club as well: SideBar credits him with The Flip on Pitbull’s Globalization Radio on SiriusXM, a platform focused on new remixes and emerging talent.

That makes Saturday less about following a predictable playlist and more about movement—hip-hop into Latin, a familiar classic into something new, then a house record when the room is ready for another gear. Shadowman already understands San Diego nightlife and SideBar’s intimate format, making him a natural choice to finish the four-night run.

Make It a SideBar Week

What ties these four nights together is range. Mixtape Massey brings a local, genre-fluid Wednesday; Priince Harry arrives Thursday with Sacramento momentum and a mix catalog that refuses to stay in one category; SourMilk gives Friday heavyweight L.A. credentials; and Shadowman closes Saturday with San Diego instincts and years of open-format experience.

SideBar gives each of them the right backdrop. The venue describes itself as an intimate boutique nightclub and lounge, pairing its cocktail-focused lounge side with signature lighting, VIP service, and a DJ-driven club experience. Current hours are 8:30 p.m.–2 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 7:30 p.m.–2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, with upscale, fashionable attire encouraged.

At the time of publication, SideBar’s DJ event pages also promote guest-list entry before 10 p.m., while VIP options put groups in reserved spaces with bottle service when the night calls for something more elevated.

Four DJs, four very different reasons to head downtown, and one week that shows exactly what SideBar does well: polished Gaslamp nightlife without sanding away the edge.
